We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Property Leasing Consultant to become part of our team at our City Flats Communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leasing Duties
  • Oversees leads and prospects for a designated area of Communities to assist clients in finding an apartment that meets their needs.
  • Establishes an upfront agreement with prospects, builds rapport, and delivers personalized service throughout the leasing and touring process while adhering to Fair Housing regulations.
  • Develops knowledge and expertise regarding all floor plan types, features, and amenities for the designated Communities, other J.C. Hart Communities, and competitors.
  • Completes the touring process from start to finish for in-person, virtual, and/or self-guided tours.
  • Understands lease terms, pricing structures, promotions, availability, and how to provide accurate and timely quotes for all prospective residents, including application links tied to selected apartments.
  • Nurtures leads through software systems or preferred communication channels, ensuring prospects understand the application process and addressing questions about the move-in and residency of a Community. Provides consistent follow-up to prospective residents to determine their final decision to apply.
  • Participates in weekly sales meetings to review leasing activities from the previous week, discuss availability, and devise strategies to fill vacancies.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Collects application fees, proof of income, and security deposits.
  • Initiates screening within Property Management software and makes final screening decisions.
  • Confirms lease details, rentable items, pet fees, and other fees or requirements as needed for lease agreement preparation.
  • Creates the Welcome Home Letter for future residents and makes the official introduction to the onsite team.
Resident Experience Management
  • Coordinates and communicates with site teams, fellow Leasing Agents, and other J.C. Hart team members regarding leasing opportunities, referrals, or support needed to create a leasing and move-in experience that distinguishes J.C. Hart from competitors.
  • Regularly inspects the Community to ensure that all common areas (interior and exterior) are satisfactory and reports any issues to the onsite team.
  • Collaborates with Resident Experience Teams to prepare show units, models, self-guided tour units, or other tour-related setups for prospect experiences.
  • Assists in community outreach and local networking to promote J.C. Hart Communities.
