Position Overview

The Agency Services Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the Agency Services manager and the broader Agency Services team. This position is responsible for coordinating requests for office services and leading the execution of the Virtual Support Program.

The coordinator will manage communications with the field force, monitor call volumes, and create team schedules. Additionally, the role involves preparing and conducting training sessions on departmental functions for relevant users.


Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Agency Services Support Coordinator include:

  1. Leading the coordination of Virtual Service Support, including the creation and communication of service opportunities.
  2. Assisting the Agency Services manager with the logistics of office building, moving, and equipment servicing appointments.
  3. Managing all invoices related to office operating expenses and vendor accounts.
  4. Coordinating phone and system permissions for staff and agents transitioning to or from an Agent Development Office.
  5. Collaborating with regional coordinators to ensure proper permissions for new agents and solicitors.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, finance, or management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
  • A commitment to ongoing job-related training and education.
  • Active pursuit of designations such as AINS, CIC, API, or AU.
  • Possession of a P/C license in the state of Michigan.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Background in process improvement.
  • Participation in project teams.
  • Professional achievements in AICPCU programs.

*This position allows for remote work from a personal residence in Michigan.
