Overview
Objective of the Agency Services Support Coordinator
The primary role is to provide essential support to the Agency Services manager, the Agency Services team, and the Agent Development Office (ADO) personnel and agents. This includes coordinating requests for office services as needed. The position also involves leading the coordination and execution of the Virtual Support Program, which encompasses communication with the field force, monitoring call volumes, and creating team schedules. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare, document, and deliver training on departmental functions for users as required. The role entails reviewing procedures, workflows, and solutions, making recommendations for enhancements, and performing quality control, monitoring, and periodic audits of Call Center operations to ensure precision. Building strong relationships with underwriting, claims, and customer service departments is crucial, serving as a liaison to the ADO team.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Agency Services Support Coordinator
1. Lead the coordination of the Virtual Service Support by managing the creation and communication of service opportunities, registrations, approvals, and denials to the field force.
2. Assist the Agency Services manager in coordinating all ADO office-related activities, including building, moving, or servicing equipment, while liaising with vendors as necessary.
3. Manage all ADO invoices related to office operational expenses, building services, vendor accounts, and miscellaneous office purchases.
4. Coordinate phone and system access for ADO staff and agents transitioning to or from an Agent Development Office. Collaborate with regional coordinators to understand the new agent and solicitor processes, ensuring ADO staff and agents have the appropriate permissions established.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications for the Agency Services Support Coordinator
1. A Bachelor's degree is required, focusing on insurance, business, finance, or management, or equivalent experience may be considered.
2. Proficiency in computer usage and experience with Microsoft Office Professional Suite is required.
3. A commitment to pursuing ongoing job-related training and education is essential.
4. Designations in AINS, CIC, API, or AU are required or actively being pursued.
5. A P/C license in the state of Michigan is required.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
2. Background in process improvement is advantageous.
3. Experience working on project teams is preferred.
4. Professional achievements in AICPCU programs are preferred.
*This position allows for remote work from a personal residence in Michigan.
