Overview
Objective
The Agency Services Support Coordinator is responsible for providing essential support to the Agency Services manager, the Agency Services team, and the Agent Development Office (ADO) personnel and agents. This role involves coordinating requests for office services and leading the execution of the Virtual Support Program, which includes communication with the field force, monitoring call volumes, and creating team schedules. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare, document, and conduct training sessions on departmental functions as needed. The position also entails reviewing procedures, workflows, and solutions, making recommendations for enhancements, and performing quality control and audits of Call Center operations to ensure accuracy. Building strong relationships with underwriting, claims, and customer service areas is crucial, as the coordinator will act as a liaison to the ADO team.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the coordination of the Virtual Service Support by managing the creation and communication of service opportunities, registrations, approvals, and denials to the field force.
- Assisting the Agency Services manager with the coordination of all ADO office-related activities, including building relocations, equipment servicing, and installation appointments, while collaborating with vendors as necessary.
- Managing all ADO invoices related to office operating expenses, building services, vendor accounts, and miscellaneous office purchases.
- Coordinating phone and system permissions for ADO staff and agents who are relocating to or from an Agent Development Office, partnering with regional coordinators to ensure proper permissions are established for new agents and solicitors.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, business, finance, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in computer usage and the Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
- Commitment to pursuing ongoing job-related training and education.
- Designations in AINS, CIC, API, or AU are required or actively being pursued.
- Property/Casualty license in the state of Michigan is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
- Background in process improvement is advantageous.
- Experience working on project teams is a plus.
- Professional achievements in AICPCU programs are preferred.
Note: This position allows for remote work from a personal residence in Michigan.
