We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Hotel Equities. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay experience.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, register guests into the computer, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
- Reservations and Check-in/Check-out: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns. Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Cash Handling and Security: Accept payment for guests' accounts, maintain a house bank, and make deposits and accurate reports of receipts daily. Properly handle and account for keys.
- Problem Resolution: Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communication: Answer telephone promptly and properly, being polite, courteous, and friendly. Communicate effectively with guests, supervisors, and other departments.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computational ability, and basic computer skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
