Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project leaders and clients to ascertain project goals and requirements.
    • Create detailed project timelines, budgets, and plans for waterproofing initiatives.
    • Evaluate project specifications, blueprints, and site conditions to select suitable waterproofing techniques and materials.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee and guide a team of waterproofing specialists, laborers, and subcontractors.
    • Provide clear instructions and support to ensure adherence to specifications and quality benchmarks.
    • Conduct routine site evaluations to track progress, identify potential challenges, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Material Selection:
    • Choose appropriate waterproofing products, coatings, membranes, and sealants based on project needs and environmental factors.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining adequate stock levels.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols to guarantee that waterproofing installations meet industry standards.
    • Perform inspections and tests to validate the effectiveness of waterproofing systems and identify any issues.
  • Safety Management:
    • Foster a safety-first culture among the project team, complying with all relevant safety regulations.
    • Ensure all personnel are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safe working practices.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Provide updates on progress, address concerns, and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation:
    • Keep accurate and thorough project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and photographic documentation.
    • Compile final project reports detailing outcomes, challenges faced, and suggestions for future projects.
  • Problem Resolution:
    • Identify and address any technical challenges, design inconsistencies, or unforeseen issues related to waterproofing.
    • Develop and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or waterproofing roles, with a proven track record of managing waterproofing projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of various waterproofing materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints effectively.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and protocols.
  • Proficient in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 course within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
