Key Project Focus Areas:
- Design and planning for parks, recreational areas, and trails.
- Enhancements for urban parks, plazas, streetscapes, and transportation corridors.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Guide design teams and consultants through all phases of design, from initial concepts to final construction.
- Encourage a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and foster a supportive office culture.
- Lead project teams to ensure timely completion while adhering to budget constraints.
- Demonstrate proficiency in producing construction document sets, including FDOT standards, hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
- Possess experience in master planning for parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
- Familiarity with FDOT landscape design is advantageous.
- Understand construction methodologies and implementation processes.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high motivation.
- Manage multiple projects of varying scales and complexities concurrently.
- Anticipate client and project needs effectively.
- Communicate proficiently, both verbally and in writing.
- Possess exceptional design capabilities.
- Be adept with software applications such as AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Florida registration as a Professional Landscape Architect, or the ability to obtain registration within a year.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience showcasing leadership skills as a Professional Landscape Architect.
- Experience in preparing proposals and scope of work documents, as well as reviewing invoices.
- Willingness to travel periodically to meet project demands.
- Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a letter of interest, resume, and project portfolio or work samples that highlight their skills and contributions to collaborative projects.
