Key Responsibilities
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will report directly to the Senior Manager of Human Resources and will be tasked with executing and overseeing the human resources strategy aligned with the company's business goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing HR policies and initiatives that enhance organizational capability.
- Conducting investigations into employee relations issues.
- Facilitating positive employee relations through daily activities and processes.
- Managing the recruitment process, including interviews and compliance with regulations.
- Providing administrative support for employment processing and ensuring data integrity in HR systems.
- Delivering training sessions as needed.
- Advising on conflict resolution and employee relations matters.
- Collaborating with management on retention and performance management strategies.
- Overseeing compensation programs and performance evaluations.
- Maintaining affirmative action programs and ensuring compliance with EEO regulations.
- Participating in administrative meetings and representing the company in unemployment claims.
- Ensuring adherence to federal and state employment regulations.
- Maintaining employee personnel and benefits records.
- Utilizing logic and reasoning to evaluate solutions and approaches to HR challenges.
- Demonstrating strong teamwork and commitment to company values.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- 6-9 years of experience with a BA in Human Resources preferred, or 4-7 years with an MBA in Human Resources preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
- Familiarity with HR systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse workforce.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude towards ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
