Position Summary:

The Primary Care Sales Associate is tasked with developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve sales objectives within the designated territory. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, increasing market share, and optimizing resource allocation. The associate will cultivate strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring the successful delivery of our CRM portfolio and reinforcing Novartis's position as a leader in primary care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Master the Novartis Sales Model and Product Training to effectively conduct sales calls.
  2. Execute business plans proficiently to meet sales targets for the assigned territory.
  3. Understand customer organizations and the diverse influences that impact their decisions.
  4. Implement call plans targeting key medical professionals and stakeholders.
  5. Tailor communication strategies during sales interactions to align with customer needs.
  6. Familiarize with treatment pathways across relevant therapeutic areas and engage with various care providers.
  7. Collaborate seamlessly with other field teams to enhance customer experience throughout transitions of care.
  8. Utilize available technologies and channels to support effective sales outreach.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a matrix environment.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • A strong commitment to healthcare and ensuring patients receive the right medications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in promoting cardiovascular pharmaceuticals or biotech products.
  • Knowledge of market access, hospital reimbursement, and protocol development.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
