Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Assist with internal control reviews and process improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Fixed Asset Management: Update and maintain all fixed asset records for the company.
- Vehicle Fleet Management: Track all vehicle fleet expenses, including leases and gas cards.
- Cash Management and Credit Card Expense Recognition: Assist with cash management and corporate credit card expense recognition.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Perform ad hoc projects as assigned throughout the year.
- Backup and Support: Provide backup for other roles within the accounting department.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an accounting or finance related role required.
- Skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the US) required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Other: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and continuous process improvement mindset. Ability and willingness to keep and maintain confidential information.
