POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for executing bookkeeping tasks to manage accounts payable, process vendor payments, and disburse funds to staff and students. The position also involves processing and reconciling student payments while maintaining organized and efficient documentation. Confidentiality of sensitive information is paramount.

RESPONSIBILITIES
o Adheres to all integrity protocols and procedures, ensuring the accuracy of student data.
o Confirms the completeness of invoice submissions. Marks all finalized invoice and cash payment documents as 'PAID'.
o Inputs accounts payable invoices and payment requests into the financial system.
o Oversees and manages student payments and allotments.
o Maintains petty cash and meal ticket funds for the Center, handling cash transactions for students and staff meals.
o Ensures timely payments to vendors and staff.
o Reconciles payroll bank accounts and subsidiary records related to accounts payable.
o Performs a combination of routine calculations, postings, and verification of financial data. Engages in various clerical tasks including typing, filing, data entry, and report preparation.
o Maintains comprehensive accounting records and reports, including accounts payable, receivable, and inventory control, in line with established procedures.
o Produces high-quality work in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
o Upholds personal attendance, accountability, and productivity standards.
o Plans, prioritizes, and organizes tasks to achieve set goals and deadlines.
o Applies job knowledge effectively to fulfill all job responsibilities and proactively maintains necessary skills.

o Demonstrates respect and courtesy towards students, holding them accountable for their actions.
o Provides quality services to students, ensuring their needs are met and pursuing improvements in service delivery.
o Communicates ideas and information clearly and concisely, contributing meaningfully to group efforts with relevant insights.
o Supplies timely and accurate information to management when requested.
o Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas, identifies issues, analyzes causes, and evaluates suitable solutions before taking action. Follows up to ensure appropriate resolutions are implemented.
o Collaborates with staff across all departments to ensure effective supervision and services for students.
o Accepts guidance and supervision from management, including performing responsibilities of other departments as needed.
o Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited institution or two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills and the Microsoft Office suite is essential. Candidates must pass the company finance assessment.
