Job Title: Customer Service Manager

At Artforms Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer-facing team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate sales opportunities in collaboration with the Customer Service/Sales team
  • Greet customers, identify their needs, and resolve or redirect inquiries effectively
  • Develop and improve customer onboarding processes and customer service policies
  • Oversee sales orders entry and quotes, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Maintain customer databases and rep contact information in our CRM system
  • Study and standardize procedures to enhance efficiency and expedite workflow
  • Recommend corrective services to address errors and customer complaints
  • Process work orders to initiate the production process in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with sales representatives and staff
  • Stay up-to-date with website, accounts, buyers, designs, design codes, colors, and other relevant information
  • Coordinate with production daily to review and prioritize press runs
  • Provide sales staff/reps with necessary tools, including catalogs, brochures, samples, account lists, customized sales reports, order forms, layouts, etc.
  • Maintain voicemail and greetings for Artforms' general telephone number
  • Issue call tags and process returns as needed
  • Support trade show and sales meetings as requested

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of management experience providing service to customers
  • Wholesale sales, retail sales, or telephone customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent human relations abilities and active listening skills; able to interact with self-confidence
  • Strong computing skills and the ability to quickly understand and learn new software
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and clerical skills
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently
  • An upbeat demeanor, with a sales-oriented personality
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems and negotiate with customers when needed; self-initiative
