POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this role will execute bookkeeping tasks to manage accounts payable vendor transactions and disburse payments to staff and students. This position also involves processing and reconciling student pay within the Job Corps program. The employee will maintain relevant documentation in a systematic and organized manner, ensuring the utmost confidentiality of sensitive information.

RESPONSIBILITIES
o Adheres to all integrity protocols and procedures, ensuring the accuracy of student data.
o Confirms the completeness of invoice submissions. Marks all finalized invoice and cash payment documents as 'PAID'.
o Inputs accounts payable invoices and payment requests into the financial management system.
o Oversees and manages student pay and allotments.
o Administers the Center's petty cash and meal ticket funds, conducting cash transactions for students and staff meals.
o Ensures timely payments to vendors and staff members.
o Reconciles payroll bank accounts and maintains accounts payable subsidiary records.
o Performs routine calculations, postings, and verification of financial data, along with miscellaneous clerical tasks such as typing, filing, data entry, and report preparation.
o Maintains accurate accounting records and reports, including accounts payable, receivable, and inventory control, in compliance with established procedures.
o Produces high-quality work in a thorough, timely, and precise manner.
o Upholds personal attendance, accountability, and productivity standards.
o Plans, prioritizes, and organizes tasks to achieve set goals and deadlines.
o Demonstrates job knowledge to effectively fulfill all required responsibilities and actively maintains the skills necessary for the role.
o Guides, monitors, and exemplifies the Career Success Standards as mandated by the PRH.
o Treats students with respect and accountability for their actions and behavior.
o Delivers quality services to students, ensuring their needs are met and continuously seeking improvements in service delivery.
o Communicates ideas and information clearly and concisely, contributing meaningfully to team efforts with relevant insights and knowledge.
o Provides timely and accurate information to DOL/Company upon request.
o Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas, identifies issues, analyzes causes, and evaluates suitable solutions before taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt and appropriate resolutions.
o Collaborates with staff across all departments to ensure effective supervision and services for students.
o Accepts guidance and supervision from the Center Director/Shift Manager, including temporary assignments in other departments.
o Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited institution or two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills and the Microsoft Office suite is essential. Successful completion of the company finance assessment is required.
