Alternative Investment Product Specialist

The Alternative Investment Product Specialist will collaborate with Neuberger Berman Group LLC's Investment, National Accounts, and Intermediary Sales teams to educate them about Alternative offerings. This role involves one-on-one and group presentations, conference calls, and coordination and preparation of strategy materials and white papers. The Alternative Investment Product Specialist will work closely with marketing and sales professionals to effectively communicate alternative strategies and products with clients and prospects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of Neuberger Berman Group LLC's Alternative products and strategies.
- Serve as the primary internal and client-facing point of contact for the illiquid alternatives platform.
- Provide clients, prospects, consultants, and intermediaries with updates about the alternatives products, including existing offerings and new products.
- Present support and guidance to Neuberger Berman Group LLC's National Field Force on the suite of Alternative Investment solutions to drive utilization and education of those solutions and satisfy client needs and objectives.
- Travel frequently to various domestic locations to attend client meetings and promote new business opportunities.
- Facilitate and promote new business opportunities along with Neuberger Berman Group LLC's sales force.
- Prepare presentations, white papers, market updates, and other deliverables.
- Responsible for shaping product marketing, emphasizing consistency and refinement through analysis of market demand, competitor offerings, and performance review.
- Ensure materials and communications going to clients are of excellent quality and consistency.
- Research and resolve client issues.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all areas of Neuberger Berman Group LLC to promote goodwill and create cross-product opportunities.
- Candidate must have 10+ years of capital markets experience in either a sales, investment, or investor relations with a minimum of 5 years prior experience within alternative investments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects.
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, marketing, or finance (CFA, CAIA, or MBA a plus).
- Series 7, 63, 24, 65, or 66 (or obtained within 6 months of hire).
The salary range for this role is $225,000-$265,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and other benefits to eligible employees.

The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, production, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
