Position Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for executing sales and service tasks related to guest check-ins, reservations, and payment collections, ensuring that all guests experience a secure and welcoming environment with attentive service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage front desk operations including guest check-ins and check-outs.
  2. Handle reservations and respond to inquiries via telephone.
  3. Provide wake-up calls and information regarding hotel amenities and services.
  4. Maintain familiarity with property security protocols and emergency procedures.
  5. Complete necessary documentation for front desk functions.
  6. Execute tasks as directed by the Guest Service Manager or General Manager.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication, comprehension, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to various situations.
  • Proficient in reporting and accounting tasks.
  • Excellent guest relations skills.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

This role requires regular sitting, standing, bending, and walking. The employee must be able to use hands and fingers to operate controls and lift items up to 15 pounds. Close vision for computer screen tasks is also necessary.
