Job Title: Unloader in a Warehouse

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Unloader to join our team at Diversified Logistics. As an Unloader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by unloading trucks, sorting and stacking products in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to assist in the unloading process
  • Remove products from trucks safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures, and processes
  • Coordinate with receivers and tow motor operators to ensure proper flow of inbound products
  • Hand-stack all floor loads in an appropriate manner with proper labels, correct ti-hi's, and no mixed products
  • Regularly ensure that product loads are properly handled to minimize damage to products
  • Submit paperwork correctly and timely
  • Wrap pallets to ensure stability when storing products
  • Assure quality on pallet condition
Requirements:
  • Stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and otherwise move continuously
  • Frequently walk throughout the workday
  • Frequently reach above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh pounds and occasionally, pounds when unloading and sorting pallet products
  • Push and pull frequently
  • Function and operate comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
  • Endure extreme temperatures of heat and cold
  • Withstand loud noise and distractions
  • 20/20 Vision with correction
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic English reading, writing, and mathematical skills
  • Must have reliable transportation
