Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead is a critical role within the USCS team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facilities. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team of warehouse staff to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the dock clerk to ensure accurate and timely loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the plant superintendent and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
