About the Role

At Watlow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Services Technician to join our team. As a Field Services Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the product installation and start up, troubleshooting, and technical support of our products at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute transactions and work under the general direction of a more seasoned professional
  • Route questions to the appropriate person and demonstrate a willingness to learn
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and best practices, and use business tools as intended
  • Participate in process improvement and demonstrate knowledge with Microsoft Office and other computer systems
  • Treat all with respect and provide excellent customer service
  • Model Watlow Way (WW) behaviors, principles, and values, and create a positive and enthusiastic team environment
Services
  • Troubleshoot basic installation issues and participate in practical problem solving
  • Run equipment, perform minor maintenance, and collect data to analyze and validate equipment corrective actions and improvement
Center of Expertise
  • Certification level I, internal certification process
  • Basic mechanical and technical aptitude, and basic electrical component understanding
Required Qualifications
  • High-school graduate/GED
  • Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (1-5 years)
