Job Summary:

RARE650 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fine dining restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and control food and labor costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to create and execute menus, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing waste.
  • Conduct payroll activities, including processing, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Source and purchase high-quality ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment, negotiating the best deals and prices.
  • Record and analyze financial data, including income, expenses, and cash flow, to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fine dining setting.
  • Proven track record of success in managing staff, controlling costs, and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate accounting and arithmetic skills, with experience using POS systems and financial software.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
