About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at RARE650. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious desserts that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new dessert menus that showcase your creativity and expertise
  • Lead a team of pastry assistants and bakers to ensure efficient and high-quality production
  • Monitor inventory and manage supplies to maintain a lean and organized kitchen
  • Collaborate with our Executive Chef to develop menus that complement our restaurant's concept and offerings
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, as well as sanitation regulations
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards
  • Create schedules for kitchen employees and provide feedback on their performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in the culinary arts or related field
  • Food Protection Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining establishment
  • Ability to manage an entire kitchen and lead a team
  • Budgeting skills to control costs
  • Incredible food preparation abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Deep knowledge of fine dining and industry-leading trends
  • Impeccable time management skills
  • Creative menu knowledge and development skills
