A Production Worker role is currently available at MI Windows and Doors. This position involves executing assigned tasks in the production of high-quality fiberglass lineal components. The focus will be on ensuring quality and timely completion of tasks to meet customer expectations. In addition to achieving departmental manufacturing objectives, safety, precision, and efficiency are critical to your performance. The hourly wage is $22.00, with an additional $2.00 shift differential for the designated hours.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Ensure adherence to commitments such as On-Time Delivery, Quality, Units per Man Hour, Safety, Housekeeping, and Scrap reduction.
  • Assist in the fiberglass lineal fabrication processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, following standard work instructions.
  • Prioritize quality and timely completion of tasks to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Exemplify MI's Core Values in all professional interactions.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred one year of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, Fiberglass, or Painting.
  • Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions and addition/subtraction.
  • Experience operating various tools, including hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
