Job Overview

AEP Span is in search of a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to become a vital part of our production team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting our machine operators, managing materials, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment to load and unload materials.
  • Inspect material quality and document movements according to company protocols.

Qualifications:

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Background in shipping and material handling.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in reading measurements accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience with unloading production equipment is preferred.
  • Physical capability to perform warehouse tasks.
