Position Title: Real Estate Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Supervisor: Director of Housing

Salary Range: $68,000 - $90,000 annually

The selected candidate will oversee leasing and compliance responsibilities across multiple properties owned by the agency. Collaborating closely with the Executive Director, the Real Estate Operations Manager will ensure adherence to tax credit regulations, asset management strategies, and landlord-tenant laws. Additionally, this role will involve working with our clinical team to address any issues that may threaten tenant stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce lease agreements and building regulations while addressing tenant concerns promptly.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and maintain building security.
  • Assist tenants with necessary documentation, including leases and utility setups.
  • Act as a liaison among various Community House departments, external regulatory bodies, and service providers.
  • Utilize conflict resolution skills as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold a safe and sanitary living environment, responding to maintenance requests efficiently.
  • Maintain tenant lease records in compliance with state housing regulations.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to track rental and security deposit transactions.
  • Provide data entry for funding sources as per contractual obligations.
  • Maintain office hours for tenant inquiries and concerns.
  • Post all required notices in accordance with legal and agency guidelines.
  • Participate in regular tenant unit inspections.
  • Attend tenant, community, or staff meetings as necessary.
  • Serve as the coordinator for agency voucher programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in housing management.
  • Experience working with diverse, low-income, or special needs populations.
  • Willingness to undergo training as mandated by funding sources and regulatory agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Understanding and adherence to all agency policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with reasonable accommodations.
