The Sales Consultant is a key member of the Livewire team, responsible for securing new business and managing relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strong ability to maintain a current knowledge of all Livewire products, services, and marketing/sales skills.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand the customer base in the commercial market.
- Manage client relationships to increase market share and produce profitable new account sales with long-term recurring revenue contracts.
- Collaborate with the Design and Engineering department to update client proposals, presentations, and design documents.
- Meet with customers at each stage of the sales process to close the sale, answer questions, and provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance.
- Conduct quality control inspections of work in progress as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant developments in the field and utilize all available resources to identify and contact new prospects.
- Maintain membership in trade associations and utilize CRM tools to manage client relationships.
- Complete and submit weekly progress reports as required.
- 4-year business degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in outside sales with a focus on new account acquisition and business development.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Self-motivated and task-driven.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good client management and goodwill/relationship building ability.
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- Capacity to handle pressure.
- Strong focus on quality.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to obtain DCJS License.
