THE ROLE
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team, responsible for driving sales and KPIs, coaching and developing team members, and upholding visual standards to ensure a consistently excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive conversion, sales, and KPI performance
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards and supervise the team to deliver a 'service over task' environment
- Work with the BOH team to deliver shop floor product availability
- Uphold company retail standards and deliver store visual excellence
- Support management team to deliver all internal and external profit protection processes
- Support with new team members' inductions and ongoing training to build bench strength for future store expansion
- Encourage team members to improve performance through effective coaching
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a candidate with:
- 2-3 years leadership experience within retail or a similar industry
- Passion for creating an amazing service experience and culture for our customers
- Proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPIs and communicating well with all stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers
