Job Summary:

The Manchester Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the face and voice of our hotel, responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Respond to guest inquiries, provide accurate and timely information, and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Check-in and Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and adhere to hotel cash handling policies.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor, providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management, both in person and over the phone.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process guest mail, messages, and faxes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the best overall performance of the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Cash Handling: Knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems.
  • Communication: Fluency in English and ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle stressful and emotional situations.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to multitask, with attention to detail.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check.
