Position Overview

Under general administrative direction, the Chief Officer of Quality Management is entrusted with the oversight and accountability for all Quality Management initiatives across the organization.

The role encompasses a broad spectrum of facilities and services, including hospitals and various health programs aimed at delivering comprehensive care.

This position collaborates with both clinical and administrative personnel to enhance patient safety and improve organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and coordinate all efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  2. Provide visionary leadership and political insight to effectively guide the Quality Management Team and staff in achieving quality objectives aligned with the organization's mission and values.
  3. Foster an innovative environment that supports the continuous advancement of clinical outcomes and patient experiences.
  4. Implement strategies to redefine, measure, and enhance quality across the organization.
  5. Oversee the comprehensive Quality program, including data collection, analysis, policy maintenance, and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Facilitate performance improvement initiatives, risk management, patient safety, and infection control programs to meet strategic priorities.
  7. Collaborate closely with various teams to enhance key performance indicators and design processes for new initiatives.
  8. Act as an internal consultant to leadership and staff on regulatory compliance, process enhancement, and performance monitoring.
  9. Assist in establishing operational performance metrics and monitoring trends to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.
  10. Coordinate the development and implementation of administrative policies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  11. Serve as a role model in utilizing proven performance improvement tools to address quality challenges.
  12. Ensure alignment of the Quality Program with the strategic goals of the organization.

The Chief Officer of Quality Management may undertake additional responsibilities as required.
