Role Overview
In the capacity of Seller Fraud Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that StubHub/Viagogo remains a secure marketplace for our users. Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating high-risk accounts to prevent unauthorized transactions. You should possess a data-driven mindset, capable of synthesizing various information to conduct risk assessments and take necessary actions to safeguard our customers.
About The Team
- The Transaction Operations team at StubHub consists of multiple groups responsible for all activities from the moment a ticket is purchased to the event day. Our teams ensure that sellers can transact securely on our platform, receive their tickets promptly, and enjoy their events.
- This full-time position may require working on weekends, holidays, during the day, and/or in the evening.
- Initially, this role will require in-office presence five days a week for the first 3-6 months, transitioning to three days a week thereafter to promote cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of fraud analysts, including participating in recruitment efforts as necessary.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and quality.
- Monitor key performance indicators and understand their relation to business objectives, including explaining variations in metrics over time regarding productivity and quality.
- Design, implement, and validate new workflows to address business challenges.
- Proactively investigate issues and provide insights that will inform workflow and product enhancements.
- Engage directly with key stakeholders, including external partners and senior management.
Qualifications
- Experience in fraud detection within financial services, compliance, banking, KYC, or related fields.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Minimum of 2 years in a managerial, analytical, or problem-solving role.
- Strong people management skills; prior experience managing a team is highly preferred.
- A natural inclination to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
- Experience in performance measurement and metric improvement.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.
- Proven track record of establishing new processes and resolving issues independently.
- Proficiency in Excel; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Basic SQL knowledge or a willingness to learn is advantageous.
