Key Responsibilities:- Develop and analyze fraud data to enable understanding of risks and recommended solutions.
- Partner with multiple lines of business to identify and mitigate fraud exposure.
- Ensure awareness of fraud risks and influence adoption of controls that align with risk appetite and customer experience expectations.
- Manage communications with dealers and lines of business for repurchase demands and other related matters.
- Serve as a liaison between fraud prevention and investigation teams for risk identification, reporting, and early delinquency reviews.
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly fraud reporting to the organization.
- Assist in case investigation, deep dive referrals, repurchase demand reviews, anti-money laundering payment reviews, and SAR filing recommendations.
- Conduct 1st line of defense QA reviews and work with the audit team on 2nd line of defense audit reviews and remediation.
- Compile and prepare documentation for legal review.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal information for consumers, including social security numbers and dates of birth.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the auto finance industry as a fraud specialist or related role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and interpret data to provide analysis to an audience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-year of Underwriting or Credit Analyst experience.
The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional overtime required. Travel is limited to 10% of the time, and reliable transportation is necessary. The position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs.
