Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a challenging temporary assignment in Salem, OR? LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company to find a dedicated HR Benefits Specialist for a 2-3 month assignment. This role requires strong benefits administration skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely manner.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Support benefits open enrollment periods and communicate any changes to employees.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and data.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to benefits utilization.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure compliance with benefits regulations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in HR benefits administration or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working with HR software systems is a plus.
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, based on the location and industry standards. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.

In addition to the competitive hourly rate, the successful candidate may be eligible for paid leave, holiday pay, and other benefits as required by law.
