We are looking for Healthcare Champions... while we don’t expect you to perform superhuman feats, here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is someone who possesses relevant industry knowledge and can effectively apply that expertise to fulfill their job responsibilities.

Execute all functions within your active license as they relate to your assigned duties. Understand the residents you care for, delivering services in accordance with their care plans and physician directives. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician. Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues across departments to ensure that nursing services and activities meet residents' needs. Foster an environment of warmth, personal interest, and calm throughout the unit and during your shift. Exchange nursing reports at the beginning and end of your shift. Accompany physicians on rounds as necessary. Assist residents with daily living activities, meal services, and social interactions. Communicate effectively with clinical leadership regarding any changes in a resident's condition. Demonstrate knowledge in caring for residents with cognitive impairments. Be open to taking on additional tasks and responsibilities within your expertise. A comprehensive job description will be provided upon hiring.

Required Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with a valid, unrestricted state license. Familiarity with nursing and medical practices, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations governing nursing care facilities. Experience in Long-Term Care is preferred. Willingness to pursue further training or education as required by specific states. CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory. Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Competent in organizational and time management abilities. Exhibits sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

· Required to sit, stand, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday; lift and/or move up to specified weights.

· Must be able to manage the mental and emotional stress associated with the position.

· Must meet the general health requirements established by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination.

· May be required to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergencies.

· Visual and auditory abilities sufficient for effective written and verbal communication.

· The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
