- Prior Authorization Management: Request and obtain prior authorizations for medical services and supplies, ensuring timely approval and minimizing denials.
- Insurance Billing and Reimbursement: Manage billing and reimbursement processes, including resolving claims issues and ensuring timely payment from insurance providers.
- Claims Reconciliation: Reconcile claims data, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate payment processing.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in healthcare billing, with a focus on medical claims processing and prior authorization management.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 medical coding, as well as experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
