Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and uphold a clinical pharmacy practice that encompasses: Consultation on drug therapies for patients and healthcare providers; Engagement in drug utilization initiatives to promote effective prescribing and achieve health outcomes; Delivering continuing education and training sessions for pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals; Providing drug-related information to healthcare providers and patients; Conducting critical reviews of medical literature to update drug therapy practices; Documenting all clinical interventions and inquiries accurately; Demonstrating ongoing proficiency in specialized pharmacy practice areas.
Qualifications:
Experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of residency in a relevant practice area, or three years of clinical practice experience is required.
- A Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) is mandatory.
- Pharmacist License (District of Columbia) must be obtained within 4 months of hire.
- Pharmacist License (Virginia) must be obtained within 4 months of hire.
- Pharmacist License (Maryland) is required.
- Board Certified Pharmacy Specialist Certificate must be achieved within 36 months of hire.

- At least one (1) year of experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
Employee Status: Regular

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.
