Job Summary:

Quadrant Inc is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant - Surgery to join our team. As a Medical Assistant - Surgery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and physician assistants in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Report to the clinical coordinator or practice administrator
Perform nursing procedures under the supervision of a physician or physician assistant
Assist physicians and physician assistants in exam rooms
Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document all information in patient charts
Give instructions to patients as instructed by physicians or physician assistants
Ensure all related reports, labs, and information are filed and available in patient medical records prior to appointments
Maintain exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, instruments, and prepare sterilization as required
Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants
Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)

Requirements:

Experienced Medical Assistant - Surgery with 2+ years of experience
CMA or RMA certification
CPR certification
EPIC EMR experience
High Volume practice experience
