About the Role

As a Medicaid Sales Representative at UnitedHealthcare, you will play a critical role in simplifying the healthcare experience for millions of people. You will work closely with community-based partners and state agencies to promote UnitedHealthcare's Medicaid plans and increase access to healthcare coverage for underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet enrollment targets and drive membership growth.
  • Collaborate with community-based partners, providers, and government agencies to promote UnitedHealthcare's Medicaid plans and increase access to healthcare coverage.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to members, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on health plan operations, provider networks, premiums, member services, claims, and other relevant information to provide accurate and informed responses to community partners and members.
  • Manage multiple priorities, including visiting provider offices, following up on leads, and tracking schedules to ensure timely appointments and information exchange.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in direct sales, social services, or community sales/marketing.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 100% of the time within assigned sales territories in the NJ market area.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday core business hours, nights, and weekends, and overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Application Counselor certification and/or NJ Certified Assister.
  • Experience with enrollment in Medicaid, CHP products.
  • Experience working with diverse communities, including underserved populations.
  • Familiarity with enrollment and eligibility in New Jersey's public health insurance programs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
