Industrial Process Optimization Specialist

Kelaca is seeking a highly skilled Asset Performance Management (APM) Engineer to join our team. As an APM Engineer, you will play a critical role in remotely implementing our company's APM solution, monitoring plant operations, and working closely with customers to ensure they receive maximum value from our software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the company's APM for new customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Review and structure customer process data, including pressure, temperature, flows, vibrations, and other key metrics.
- Configure first-principle performance calculations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build machine learning models using our APM's automated model deployment tools, driving data-driven decision making.
- Monitor customer plant operations, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Responsible for risk identification, customer escalation, and mitigation, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Review alerts generated by our APM's AI and machine learning models, taking prompt action to address any operational deviations.
- Diagnose the root cause of operational issues and collaborate with on-site personnel to develop and execute remediation plans.
- Track data in our APM to ensure problems are resolved, and customer expectations are met.
- Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews with customers, reinforcing the value of our APM solutions in solving critical plant issues.
- Lead customers through adopting our APM, driving high ROI and subscription renewals.
- Foster customer relationships through video calls and occasional on-site visits, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Gather and share customer feedback with our Product Teams, ensuring customer needs are heard and addressed throughout the product development process.
- Identify incremental opportunities company-wide and work closely with Product and Sales Teams to drive growth and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-7 years of engineering experience in industrial process plants, including Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and other relevant sectors.
- Demonstrated aptitude for adopting new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive data-driven decision making.
- Excellent customer relationship skills, with the ability to grow and retain accounts, build relationships, and quickly spot and communicate potential risks and issues.
- Customer-focused, organized, excellence-oriented, and personable, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Problem solver, with the ability to get to the root cause of complicated operational issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present operational findings and suggested actions to customers and stakeholders.
