Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying engineering skills and lean techniques to generate continuous improvements in manufacturing in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply engineering skills and lean techniques to improve manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and implement training programs to teach manufacturing and technical concepts
  • Conduct on-floor assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tools to track and analyze process data

Requirements:

  • 4-year engineering degree
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Green belt/black belt certification
  • 7+ years of experience in high-volume process-based food manufacturing
  • Ability to teach manufacturing and technical concepts
  • Hands-on approach, being on the floor with equipment and operators
  • Proficient in Excel
