Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Intensive Care Unit team at Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.
Responsibilities:- Triage incoming patients and manage client relationships throughout their visit
- Partner with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures, including catheter placement
- Obtain and process laboratory samples, such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
- Utilize radiology imaging modalities for patient assessment
- Execute, monitor, and recover sedation and anesthetic events
- Provide outstanding client care to maintain long-term relationships
We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational and time management skills, as well as a strong sense of personal accountability. You should be able to maintain a professional composure and positive attitude in a high-performance culture with ever-changing demands.
Requirements:- 2 years' experience as a veterinary assistant/technician in a progressive general practice and/or 1 year in a specialty practice
