Insurance Policy Support Specialist

Ancora Risk is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, answering their questions about insurance policies and coverage issues, and ensuring that all inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Policy Support: Answer incoming call questions about insurance policies and coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given.
- Customer Verification: Verify customers' coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork.
- Follow-up and Communication: Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available.
- Issue Resolution: Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: High school diploma or GED equivalent needed.
- Previous Customer Service Experience Required: Previous customer service experience required for this position.
- Insurance Knowledge Preferred: Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Licensure: Active NY insurance license.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Ancora Risk offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
