ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients and visitors by delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively address the needs of patients and visitors in waiting areas, ensuring a positive interaction by greeting patients and resolving any concerns.
  • Conduct patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling in accordance with established standards to ensure accuracy and enhance the patient experience.
  • Adhere to telephone etiquette and service standards when communicating with patients over the phone.
  • Manage point-of-service tasks, including visit preparation, co-pay collection, and patient record tracking, to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
  • Engage patients in utilizing the NG Patient Portal, enhancing their experience and improving utilization rates.
  • Encourage the use of front-end technology, providing guidance and training to patients.
  • Support the workflow for daily operations and participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff, including providers and nurses, to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Adhere to compliance policies and procedures while performing other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing, or customer service is required.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • An Associate's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree may also substitute for the experience requirement.
