Accounting Manager Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, specifically related to supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including balance sheet account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and budget versus actual reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Implement and enforce accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of all financial reports, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and financial planning.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to understand and manage costs and identify areas for financial optimization.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the supply chain sector.
  • Proven experience with balance sheet account reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
