Customer Service Representative I

The Customer Service Representative I is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer calls, emails, and chats in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets.
Educations and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Manufacturing or distributor experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply).
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
This is a sedentary role that requires the ability to sit or stand as needed. The employee will occasionally be required to complete some filing, which may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Proper lifting techniques are required.
