Position Overview
InterDigital is currently in search of a Senior Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Executive Vice President, CTO, and Head of Research & Innovation. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in senior-level administrative roles, ideally within a global technology organization, and have a background in supporting leadership teams in research and development settings. Proficiency in collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. The role may require occasional travel related to leadership team activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced, diverse, and confidential administrative functions in support of the Head of Research & Innovation.
- Provide administrative assistance to the VP, Head of Wireless Labs, as needed.
- Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Collaborate with other administrative professionals to coordinate meetings and events across various regions and time zones.
- Interface effectively with all levels of management, colleagues, and external contacts, particularly the R&I leadership team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prepare expense reports, and draft correspondence including letters, memos, and reports.
- Oversee daily appointment calendars and travel arrangements consistently.
- Create PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets as required.
- Participate in leadership meetings/workshops, take concise notes, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Screen telephone calls, arrange conference calls/remote meetings, and handle inter-company communications as needed.
- Order and maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment maintenance.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree is a strong advantage or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of administrative experience supporting executive-level management.
- Exhibit a polished and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate proactivity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global environment.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and recognizing when to shift focus.
- Ability to identify issues and proactively propose solutions.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
