Position Overview:

The role of a Solutions Architect for Hyperscale at NVIDIA involves collaborating with leading-edge clients to develop and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) software solutions at scale. This position is integral to the NVIDIA Solutions Architecture team, focusing on delivering comprehensive technology solutions that encompass both hardware and software, while providing strategic insights to business and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Hyperscale clients to create and showcase solutions utilizing NVIDIA's innovative software and hardware technologies.
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Managers and Developer Relations Managers to pinpoint and secure business opportunities for NVIDIA's offerings.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for clients developing intricate infrastructures, assisting them in understanding performance metrics for optimal solutions.
  • Conduct regular technical meetings with clients to discuss project details, product features, new technologies, and troubleshooting sessions.
  • Partner with clients to construct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) that address significant business challenges.
  • Prepare and present technical materials to clients, including presentations and workshops.
  • Analyze and devise solutions for client performance challenges related to both AI and system performance.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related engineering disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong motivation and capabilities to drive technical pre-sales initiatives.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Solutions Engineering or similar Sales Engineering roles.
  • Experience in developing performance benchmarks for systems, including GPU and multi-node architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in building AI and HPC applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems architecture, including PCIe topologies and networking, as they relate to overall application performance.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in articulating ideas clearly through documentation and presentations.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in customer-facing roles with a strong technical background.
  • Practical experience with Deep Learning and/or AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA's hardware and software ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with GPU systems, including performance testing and AI benchmarking.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to effectively debug and resolve issues.

Occasional travel may be necessary for on-site client visits and industry events.
