Senior Water Engineer Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Water Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in Southern California.

The successful candidate will lead and manage regional project delivery and pursuits within the municipal water/wastewater market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage municipal water and wastewater projects, including project planning, design, and construction.
  • Develop project scopes and fee estimates, and manage risk and project staff.
  • Lead project teams to meet project deliverables, and manage budgets and delivery schedules.
  • Work directly with clients to determine needs and provide solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams.
  • Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • 10 years of progressively responsible leadership in the Water and Wastewater field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Current PE License in California, or ability to obtain PE in California in 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current PE License in CA.
  • Masters degree in Engineering.
  • Experience working on design projects with construction contractors utilizing alternative project delivery methods.
  • Functional experience with MS Office applications including Microsoft Project.
