Water Resource Control Engineer

Job Summary
The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking a highly skilled Water Resource Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Storm Water Permitting Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and protecting California's water resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent stormwater pollution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve environmental goals
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental regulation or compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
