Position Overview:

The primary role of the receptionist is to deliver exceptional administrative assistance by conducting inquiries, managing information requests, and executing clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes and guides visitors.
  • Handles incoming calls and provides information through the telephone or switchboard.
  • Manages the receipt and dispatch of packages via courier services.
  • Keeps a record of visitors and call logs, issues security passes/badges, and performs basic clerical duties such as typing and filing.
  • Oversees the scheduling of boardroom usage and equipment maintenance.
  • Offers additional administrative support as needed, including typing, filing, photocopying, binding documents, and preparing mailers.

Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, multitasking capabilities, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in maintaining organized and confidential information.
  • Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education & Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
