Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Infection Preventionist to join our team at Mount Olive Center in Mount Olive, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote infection prevention and control practices among staff members.
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring activities to identify and investigate potential infection control issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent and control infections.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on infection prevention and control best practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
