Role Summary
As a Bioanalytical Laboratory Technician, you will collaborate with our Antibody Discovery Services team to facilitate the development of antibody-based therapeutics. This position involves utilizing cutting-edge protein analytics tools and methodologies to support the overarching goal of advancing medicinal development. A passion for the biochemical and biophysical characterization of antibodies, including bispecific and multispecific variants, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support: Conduct biochemical and biophysical characterization, including assessments of protein purity, aggregation, charge variance, and binding interactions.
  • Deliver: Ensure the timely execution of partner projects while balancing quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Organize: Maintain an orderly inventory of reagents, sensor chips, and buffers.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with team members and other departments to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Improve: Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify areas for protocol enhancement.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology).
  • Strong understanding of antibody therapeutics.
  • Proven experience as a laboratory technician.
  • Interest in analytical characterization principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot experimental challenges.
  • Experience with electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrated urgency, persistence, and integrity in work.
