Position Summary
As a Bioanalytical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Antibody Discovery Services team, contributing to the development of antibody-based therapeutics. This position involves utilizing cutting-edge protein analytics methodologies to support the discovery process, with a focus on the biochemical and biophysical characterization of various antibody formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Support: Conduct biochemical and biophysical characterization, including assessments of protein purity, aggregation, and binding interactions.
- Deliver: Ensure the timely execution of projects while balancing quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Organize: Maintain an orderly inventory of reagents and supplies.
- Collaborate: Work closely with team members and other departments to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Improve: Engage with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify areas for protocol enhancement.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology).
- Solid understanding of antibody therapeutics.
- Experience as a laboratory technician.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
